Scotland Victorious at BBF Summer Cup

Scotland's National Baseball Team closed out its summer campaign with an undefeated run through the Gold Division at the British Baseball Federation's Summer Cup -  the UK's premier baseball tournament. Held at the National Baseball & Softball Complex at Farnham Park, the tournament brought together 16 teams from across the country to compete for national honours. Placed in the Gold Division against the strongest competition on offer, Scotland went unbeaten throughout the tournament, claiming victory without dropping a single game.

The weekend wasn't without its challenges, with rain disrupting play at various points throughout. Perhaps it's fitting that Team Scotland proved best equipped to navigate the conditions.

Adding to the celebration, Scotland's own Aven Fletcher was named tournament MVP, a fitting individual honour to cap off a dominant team performance.

Several members of the national squad will carry that momentum forward this autumn, making appearances at youth programmes and clinics in Edinburgh, strengthening the pipeline that will sustain Scottish baseball's success on the international stage for years to come.

His family travelled in from Scotland to watch, Saltire in hand. He is the first Scotland‑raised player to reach the Majors in a generation, and a reminder of the talent this country can produce.
